1 Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and AI Resume Studio ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the AI Resume Studio web application, services, APIs, and associated career development software (collectively, the "Platform").
By registering an account, purchasing a subscription, accessing our resume editor, uploading candidate documents, or otherwise utilizing any part of the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease all access and use of the Platform.
2 User Accounts, Registration & Credential Security
To access certain features of the Platform—including creating resumes, running ATS optimization scans, and downloading compiled PDF/Word documents—you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide true, accurate, current, and complete information as prompted during the signup and onboarding process.
- Maintain and promptly update your account profile and credentials to keep them accurate and current.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your authentication credentials, passwords, and JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
- Accept full responsibility for all activities, analyses, and data transactions that occur under your authenticated account.
- Immediately notify our technical team via Contact Support or
support@resumestudio.com if you suspect unauthorized access or security breaches involving your account.
Each consumer subscription is personal, individual, and non-transferable. You shall not share, resell, lease, or distribute your account credentials or session tokens to third parties.
3 User Responsibilities & Authenticity of Career Records
You represent and warrant that all biographical data, employment histories, academic degrees, skill proficiencies, professional certifications, and project descriptions uploaded to or created within AI Resume Studio reflect authentic, truthful, and lawful information. AI Resume Studio expressly disclaims any responsibility for verifying the factual veracity or legal validity of statements, credentials, or achievements incorporated into your resumes.
You agree not to create, submit, or distribute fraudulent resumes, counterfeit certifications, falsified references, or misleading employment claims using our compilation or template tools.
4 Resume Creation and AI-Assisted Services
AI Resume Studio provides intelligent SaaS productivity tools designed to assist job seekers in drafting, structuring, and optimizing professional career documents. Our services include:
- Interactive, two-way reactive resume authoring across standardized ATS-friendly templates (Modern, Executive, Technical, Minimalist, Classic).
- Deterministic Applicant Tracking System (ATS) parsing, keyword density matching, and objective scoring algorithms (0–100 scale).
- Algorithmic STAR methodology (Situation, Task, Action, Result) bullet-point enhancements and impact metric formatting.
- Job requisition alignment, skill gap identification, and cover letter synthesis.
- High-resolution vector PDF generation and native Microsoft Word (.docx) XML exports.
5 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer (Crucial Advisory Notice)
Important Advisory: All artificial intelligence suggestions, automated bullet-point enhancements, keyword recommendations, and ATS match estimations are algorithmic advisory outputs provided on an "as-is" basis. AI Resume Studio does not guarantee employment, job interviews, recruiter outreach, or hiring success.
You acknowledge and understand that:
- Large language models and heuristic engines may occasionally generate content that is incomplete, contextually imprecise, or syntactically generalized ("hallucinations").
- You retain sole discretion, ultimate responsibility, and editorial control over all resume drafts before submitting them to any prospective employer, recruiter, or academic institution.
- Hiring algorithms, human resource guidelines, and corporate ATS platforms differ widely across companies; a high ATS score within AI Resume Studio does not guarantee passage through proprietary third-party recruitment systems.
6 User-Uploaded Content & Intellectual Property Ownership
You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of all resumes, work summaries, uploaded PDF/Word documents, cover letters, and personal identifiers submitted to the Platform. AI Resume Studio claims zero ownership over your authored career materials.
By uploading or entering your documents, you grant AI Resume Studio a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable license strictly to host, parse, index, render, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Platform's core services to you. Your uploaded content is never shared with third-party recruiters without your explicit action, nor is it ever sold to advertising brokers.
7 Acceptable and Prohibited Use Policy
When accessing or interacting with AI Resume Studio, you expressly agree NOT to:
- Upload files containing malicious code, viruses, trojans, worms, ransomware, or corrupted binaries (all uploads are inspected via automated malware scanning engines).
- Execute automated scraping, spidering, data harvesting, or programmatic extraction of platform templates, algorithms, or proprietary questions.
- Attempt prompt injection, jailbreaking, or adversarial payload attacks against our AI gateway services.
- Interfere with, circumvent, or exploit quota tracking, rate limits, or billing verification mechanisms.
- Attempt unauthorized horizontal traversal, insecure direct object reference (IDOR) attacks, or cross-tenant data access.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code from the Platform.
- Use the Platform to author or transmit any unlawful, threatening, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or fraudulent materials.
8 Platform Intellectual Property
The Platform, including but not limited to its visual interfaces, graphical assets, CSS stylesheets, JavaScript client controllers, FastAPI backend architectures, deterministic scoring engines, database schemas, trademarks, and documentation, is the exclusive proprietary property of AI Resume Studio and its licensors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the interface for personal career advancement in accordance with these Terms.
9 Payments, Plans & Pricing Structure
AI Resume Studio provides both free tier access and premium paid subscriptions. Our current authoritative plan pricing is as follows:

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR). Where applicable by law, Goods and Services Tax (GST at 18%) or statutory charges will be itemized and calculated transparently during checkout.
10 Subscription Billing, Auto-Renewal & Cancellation Procedure
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance for each billing cycle (monthly or annually) via authorized payment gateways. You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your account dashboard by navigating to Billing & Subscription and clicking "Cancel Subscription".
Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will NOT renew at the conclusion of the current prepaid billing period.
- You will continue to enjoy uninterrupted, full Pro tier access until the end of your current paid billing period (
current_period_end).
- No surprise recurring renewals or cancellation penalties will be assessed.
11 Refund Policy Reference
All fee payments, charges, duplicate billing remediations, and service activation discrepancies are governed by our dedicated, authoritative Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review that policy before purchasing any paid plan.
12 Service Availability, Maintenance & Modifications
We target 99.9% platform availability. However, the Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to perform scheduled technical maintenance, system updates, database migrations, or emergency hotfixes that may result in brief service interruptions. We shall not be liable for any downtime caused by third-party cloud infrastructure outages (e.g., Cloudflare, Render, AWS), upstream AI provider outages, or network connectivity failures beyond our reasonable control.
13 Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither AI Resume Studio nor its directors, officers, employees, partners, or licensors shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including without limitation, loss of employment opportunities, missed hiring deadlines, lost profits, reputational harm, or data loss—arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Platform.
In all circumstances, our maximum aggregate liability to you for all claims arising under or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the greater of: (a) one thousand Indian Rupees (₹1,000 INR), or (b) the actual total subscription fees paid by you to AI Resume Studio in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to liability.
14 Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at our discretion. If a revision meaningfully impacts your rights, we will provide at least fifteen (15) days' advance notice via an in-application banner or email to your registered account address. Your continued access to or use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your binding agreement to the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute, controversy, or claim arising from these Terms or your platform usage shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru / Pune, India.
